NEW SCORPA SC FACTORY 2024 ENGINE NEWS

The SCORPA engine (SHERCO origin) and its satellites have been the area that has given the most work to the brand’s engineers.

Based on the new engine block presented in 2023, which reduces weight by 4.5 kilos compared to 2022, stopping the scale at 16 kilos, the work has focused on four main axes: electronics, injection, clutch and start.

On the one hand, you receive a new petrol pump and aluminium connector from the pump itself. As a complement, the injector of the SCORPA 2024 is different, receiving in turn new power maps to optimize response and achieve a more progressive delivery.

The clutch has also been reinforced to increase the reliability and durability of a key component in the engine.

The same line has been followed for the starter system, which maintains its battery power. Now, the kickstarter shaft has been reinforced and redesigned, receiving a new aluminum starter lever in parallel.

The electrical system has been completely revised and optimised, with a new regulator and an electronic configuration with a double spark system to optimise performance in the low and mid-range engine revs.

Finally, it receives new graphics on its bodywork, although it maintains the brand’s characteristic colors, blue and yellow.
