Vertigo Motors has unveiled two new models that will make up the 2023 range: the 2023 Vertigo Nitro and the 2023 Vertigo Dougie Lampkin Replica.
Dougie Lampkin has been an ambassador for the brand since its inception, as well as the importer in the UK. Lampkin’s work extends to collaboration in the development of the Nitro range and also in an important work as a rider, excellently represented as the winner of 5 of the last 6 editions of the Scottish Six Days Trial with Vertigo. Without going any further, Lampkin won this 2022 edition at the controls of a Vertigo Nitro.

The 2023 Vertigo Nitro Dougie Lampkin inherits the essence of the British rider, with interesting improvements designed to offer an easier and nobler response, as required by a tough demand such as SSDTs.
Focused on obtaining the highest performance and comfort for the rider both in the engine section and in the chassis part, the 2023 Vertigo Nitro DL12 features components such as the soft geometry intake body, exclusive to this model. A greater temper in the response of the engine and consequently easier to control for the rider, it is ideal for traditional trials such as the SSDTs themselves or those that present wet and muddy conditions.
The 2023 Vertigo Nitro DL12 also incorporates a new coil support with silentblocks, which allows you to gain stability and avoid vibrations coming from the motor.
Another component to highlight is the new 0.7mm klingersil cylinder seal, which improves tightness in extreme conditions and contributes to making the bike more docile.
One of the most visible additions is the new self-purging water pump guard, which drastically reduces the risk of breakdown due to bumps or impacts with rocks.
Also in terms of protection, the 2023 Vertigo Nitro DL12 features a crankcase cover with a new design in 6mm V-2049 gray lighter and with greater capacity to safeguard the integrity of the engine.

2023 NITRO MECHANICAL UPGRADES
A smoother and more efficient clutch has been achieved by modifying the preload springs. Other standouts on the 2023 Vertigo Nitro DL12 include the detachable machined clutch cover and battery-assisted hybrid start system, which makes it easier to start the engine and improves the performance of electronics.
Within the zone, the rider will benefit from the 3-way Reiger shock with compression, rebound and preload adjustment, combined with the 170mm Tech Factory forks. The footpegs and brake dropout, both machined components, give this model a plus of style, ride control and stability.
Another novelty never seen before are the DLR High Quality Blister adhesives, whose texture has been developed to withstand any weather over time. The design is bold yet elegant and modern, in keeping with the essence that characterizes the brand. Greens and greys combine exquisitely with black. The signature of the British legend gives the final touch of exclusivity.
As an exclusive detail, the Vertigo Nitro DL12 2023 will come with a custom DL12 thermo bottle with a double wall of stainless steel, ceramic inner coating and screw cap with which to maintain hydration at optimal levels whether on warm summer days or in the cold of winter.
The new 2023 Vertigo Nitro DL12 will be available in all displacements: 125cc, 200cc, 250cc, 280cc and 300cc.
