The new Sherco ST2013 takes another step forward in the evolution of trial bikes. In addition to the new and spectacular decoration, there are many technical aspects that the new bike houses and that make it much better than its predecessors. The slender figure of the ST receives a much more racing decoration with touches of style that give it a unique character, breaking with the trends of recent years and that make the Sherco a completely different bike to look at.

It still maintains the brand’s corporate colors, based on blue and yellow, but the latter has gained great importance, giving color to the chassis and different decorative details. The attention paid to the decoration is confirmed by the new yellow hubs and Morad rims finished in matt graphite anodised that complete the elegance of the whole.

The base decoration is complemented by a complete newly designed kit of non-stick and rub-resistant lenticular material adhesives that protect the areas most sensitive to erosion, such as the front fork, swingarm or footrest area. The engine also receives pops of colour with numerous matte black accents, which completes a homogeneous, dynamic and attractive image of the new Sherco ST2013.

shst20131The small details make the new ST2013 an exquisite bike, in addition to a considerable improvement in quality, reaching parameters that are difficult to access for its competitors.

In the engine section , numerous evolutions have been adopted. Externally, the starter lever and gear shift have been modified, much more ergonomic. The right crankcase of the engine has been revised, which, together with a new design of the protector, means that the underbody of the engine has greater protection against large impacts when overcoming obstacles. A new carburetion setup together with a revision of the cylinder thermodynamics have made it possible to increase the performance of the engine at all speeds and conditions.

The clutch has also received small improvements , such as the inclusion of a new, more effective radial bearing to increase performance in the transmission of engine power.

The chassis has been thoroughly checked and modified at points susceptible to stress. With this revision , greater rigidity and stability have been achieved while allowing any obstacle to be faced more safely.

Tweaks also affect suspensions, with a new Tech fork setting as well as the front as well as the R16V rear shock absorber incorporating a spring attachment washer. The new aluminium-forged footpegs of the ST2013 are now adjustable in position thanks to a new bushing, which allows the position of the footpegs to be modified and thus vary the rider’s driving position.

The new state-of-the-art Formula braking kit for the ST2013 is the result of collaboration and development carried out jointly by Sherco’s technical department and Formula. It also incorporates levers with a much more ergonomic geometry that adapt perfectly to the hand. The entire Formula team is completed with a new evolution of the rear brake caliper.

The Sherco ST2013 is manufactured at the Caldes de Montbui plant (Barcelona) with a forecast of 3,000 units of version 2.9, The brand’s benchmark bike in trial, with a range of it will be completed with versions 80, 125, 250 as well as specific limited series, such as the Cabestany Replica.
