The R model has come out of the Sherco factory, which is marketed in all engines, both 2T and 4T. The new R stands out, above all, for its imposing aesthetics, which give a growing prominence to the colour gold and debuts a chromatic style hitherto unheard of in the brand. Continuing with its image, we observe a growing prominence of exclusive components made of carbon fiber.
Such is the case with the manifold and silencer guard, fork bridge and headlight holder. In addition, most of the stickers now have a carbon fiber look printed on the background, so the overall aesthetics of the whole thing have gained a lot of integers.
Mechanically, it incorporates a titanium manifold signed by S3 and replaces – only in the 2T version – the Dell ́Orto carburetor with a Keihin. The 3.2 incorporates the Keihin as a strict series.
AndThe exclusive feature of the 2T is the “racing” cylinder head, with different specifications and small changes compared to the standard. Finally, in this special version we find another series of details of lesser range, such as the simplified electrical installation, the Cabestany replica handlebars, the gold-colored wheels, new clutch pump, redesigned brake lever and Braking brake discs.
