The Spanish Trial Championship starts this weekend in Arteixo

The Arteixo Motorcycle Mountaineering Club is ready to start the 2022 season of the Spanish Trial Championship. The organization already stood out last year with a very well organized trial with a large and comfortable paddock with all the services available, and withtechnical keys of appropriate level to each of the categories called, in addition to a perfectly marked route.

The town of Arteixo , located very close to the city of La Coruña, will host the drivers of all categories, where there will be two days of scoring competition. The categories that will participate will be: TR1, TR2, TR3, TR4, TR5, Junior, Cadet, Cadet 125, Female TR1, Female TR2, Female TR3, Youth A, Youth B, Veteran A and Veteran B .

AREAS

As in other previous races, there will be different zones according to the categories, being divided into Categories A for TR1, TR2, TR3 and Junior and Categories B for the rest. Categories A will have 12 zones in which they will have to do 2 laps, and categories B will have 10 zones in which they will have to pass 2 times. Likewise, some parts of the interzone route will be differentiated for categories A and B, although there will also be part of the route that will be the same for all.

The last area for both category B and A riders will be indoor, and will be located next to the starting area and the Administrative Verification and Technical Verification offices.

As far as training is concerned, the riders will have 3 different zones and a warm-up area located next to the paddock. The starting point and the paddock will be located in the Ponte dos Brozos Football Field Parking.

PADDOCK

The Paddock will be divided into two parts, Paddock A and Paddock B. Entry to Paddock A can be made from Thursday from 15:00 to 21:00 and on Friday from 10:00 to 22:00. Entry to Paddock B will be from Friday at 14:45 until 22:00.

If some riders or teams arrive outside the indicated times, no problem, as the riders in Paddock B who cannot enter have a temporary parking lot near the training areas.

Great audience forecasting

As last year, the areas are located so that the publiccan follow and comfortably see the passage of the pilots, and it is expected that once again the number of attending public will be high, as it always is in Galicia. In addition, local fans will have the incentive to see some of their drivers such as Gabriel Marcelli and Jorge Casales have earned a place among the best drivers in the world.

What's New CET 2022

The big novelty this year is the new TR5 category, to accommodate more riders as was already seen last year with the Veterans B. The goal is for there to be more and more categories in which you can compete regardless of level and age, since previously pilots under 35 years of age only had TR4 as the most accessible level, which for many could be excessively difficult. Now in TR5 the participation of pilots from 12 to 34 years old, or who turn 35 during the year, is allowed to participate, who will perform the white zone steps with a red background, that is, the same as the Veterans A, Youth A and TR2 Women’s categories.
