The National starts in Castelloli with more than 100 riders

PedersenWith a hundred riders registered, the 2014 National Trial Championship has begun at the facilities of Parcmotor Castellolí, Barcelona. The number of participants has turned out to be a success and the 101 riders have enjoyed themselves in the areas prepared by MC Montbui.

The categories that have been in Barcelona this Sunday have been TR2, TR3, TR4, Junior, Cadet, Youth A, Youth B, Female A and Female B.

Around 09:00 in the morning they began to leave to go to the areas and definitively inaugurate the season.


In Juvenil A Hugo Dufrese, David Avendaño and Martín Riobo have taken the victory with 41, 42 and 48 points respectively. It’s a nice struggle in this category. In Juvenil B, Pau Martínez has won the race. Pol Mediña was second and Baptiste Llorens third.


In Junior , Marc Riba did a great job and went home with an important first position to start the year. Jaume Roselló was second and Adrián Villabrille third. In Cadet, Gabriel Marcelli, Sergio Ribau and Iván Ortíz have qualified in the first places after doing the entire trial.


The girls of Female A and Female B have also been in Barcelona giving a good example of their enormous quality in this sport. Sandra Gómez, Mireia Conde and Elisabet Solera have been the best in A while Alba Lara, Andrea Mira and Mireia Lozano have managed to be the best in B.

TR2, TR3 and TR4

In the TR2 category , Hakon Pedersen managed to beat his rivals and climbed to the top step of the podium. Miquel Gelabert was second and Ib Vegard Andersen third. Francesc Recio, Víctor Batalla and Rafa Latorre have stood out in TR3 and in TR4 Adriá Albejano, Jesús Martín and Luis Pastor have done so.

As can be seen in the classifications, there has also been international participation in this event of the RFME Spanish Trial Championship. The next one will be on March 30 in Sigüenza, Guadalaja, with the organization of the MC Alto Henares and the TR1, TR2, TR3, TR4, Junior and Cadet categories.
