A special edition, inspired by the grands prix, destined to become a cult object for enthusiasts who covet to experience the same sensations as an official rider at the controls of a true thoroughbred trial.
Gas Gas is committed to a long list of top quality components for its most exclusive trial model, the new Gas Gas TXT GP 2018, a direct legacy of its extensive experience in the world of competition. A long-awaited limited series that the Salt factory will only produce in the displacements of 300, 280, 250 and 125 cc.
A GAS GAS ‘SPECIAL EDITION’ WITH RACING CHARACTER
The extraordinary quality of its elements is one of the main symbols of identity of this “Special Edition” of Gas Gas, an exclusive series that returns to the emblematic red color of the brand, mixing small brushstrokes of black and white, to further highlight its racing and sporty look. A set in which, at first glance, the Renthal handlebar, accompanied by its corresponding protector, also stands out, as well as the red cooling hoses with high temperature resistance.
Details such as the titanium exhaust curve or the new aluminum suspension flanges.
RACING COMPONENTS FOR PRECISE RIDING
The new 2018 Gas Gas TXT GP deepens the complex balance section with the addition of a new Tech front fork and Öhlins rear shock. A gold-colored suspension set, inherited from the racing department, which adopts new springs and adjustments to offer a plus of stability and traction to this model.
Designed to satisfy the wide range of the brand’s customers, without interfering with its marked competition character, Gas Gas has opted to implement a variable preload to the clutch spring of its new TXT GP, so that each rider can adjust the clutch to their type and level of riding, more or less extreme. A preload system in the clutch that improves its sensitivity and feel and also helps to extend the life of the clutch.
The list of novelties increases when we delve into the details of the chassis and, especially, of its engine, with the incorporation of Boyesende carbon sheets, double-spark CDI and closed-core coil – both signed by Hydria – and a new air filter box manufactured, also in carbon fiber, which contributes to a greater flow throughout its travel. Improvements in its torque at low and medium revs, fuller than ever in this Gas Gas TXT GP. A model whose new cylinder head and cylinder head system allows to further increase the compression of the engine, accentuating its competition behavior.
A special edition that meets all the requirements of the Euro4 regulations, and for which the Salt factory has planned a limited production, expressly numbered and easily distinguishable by the commemorative plaque of the Gas GasTXT GP series, available from next month at the brand’s official dealers.
