Preview 2 Days of Classic Trial of Robregordo 2017

The organization of the XIII edition of the Two International Days of Classic Trial of Robregordo is already underway, which will run this year 2017 again through the places of Horcajo de la Sierra and Robregordo itself on September 30 and October 1.
For this edition we are already working on the design of the route and the zones, and on maintaining the essence of the race of previous years, with a long route of about 25 to 30 km. to which one lap will be made each day, with at least 20 penalty zones daily.
We are also opening new sections that will undoubtedly be to the liking of the participants and at the same time will bring new incentives to the event.
In this edition we will also have the opportunity to pay an emotional tribute to Martin Lampkin, grandmaster of our trial specialty who left us at the end of 2016, and whom we had the opportunity to have with us in the 2012 edition of Robregordo.

For the rest, we are confident that the race will honour the great trial in Ripoll, which brilliantly opened the Sotobike Trophy last June, and the next race in Maeztu to be held in mid-September.
We remind you that, as usual, this Robregordo race is part of the Madrid Trophy of classic trial, and this time, each of the two days will score separately for the Madrid Trophy. It is important to note that on this occasion, each of the two days will also score for the Sotobike Trophy, with Saturday’s day in La Nucía being the one that will be a single result for the Sotobike Trophy, but its value double for the score.
Also, I would like to tell you that the final classification of the Trophy will be made by eliminating each rider the two worst results, so the end is very open in all categories.
