Vertigo Motors presents the new NITRO RS2 2024, an edition that celebrates its second year of life and represents a step higher, but very close, to the NITRO WORKS 2024, which was presented in October and with which it will share a catalog until January 2025. That is, the NITRO WORKS 2024 will be in force from October to October, and the NITRO RS2 from February to February.
Both models (WORKS and RS2) are practically identical and the differences are concentrated in a few small aspects at the level of chassis and electronics, as well as some finishes.
The basis of the work in the NITRO 2024 range is a common denominator. You will remember that a new subframe, more evolved electronics and thermodynamic improvements were presented. From here, the RS2 introduces new features that we have also just presented in the limited version NITRO TITANIUM R (15 units for everyone). We are referring to the recesses in the chassis stays, which allow better ventilation of the engine, and also the incorporation of these recesses to the central height of the frame.
In terms of components, the Nitro RS2 is equipped with anodized clutch and brake master cylinder covers, as well as special lever regulators. We also find cooling pipes made of silicone, green, red anodized rims and an aesthetic that maintains the chromatic lines that we already saw in 2023.
The mechanical field, where work continues to focus on getting the most out of electronics; in this way, the Nitro 2024 receives a new power map setting and thermodynamics have also been worked on with feedback from the racing team. Now the injection system allows the idle adjustment directly by the user, being able to make the injection “zero” by simply removing the man from the water for three seconds. In other words, it is no longer necessary to connect the motorcycle to the computer to perform these basic adjustment tasks.
The Vertigo Nitro is equipped with Tech Factory suspension with aluminum bars at the front and a three-way Reiger shock absorber at the rear.
