Toni Bou Champion of Spain after winning in Cal Rosal

Bou CET13the titles disputed With many titles in the air, a very exciting race has been held in the Colonia Cal Rosal. The municipality of Olván has had the honour of having the best pilots in the specialty. Many of them were playing for the championship and that is why they have given everything in the areas prepared by the organization.

The MC Baix Berguedà, together with Amics del Trial Cal Rosal, has prepared a 10-kilometre route in which there were eleven areas to carry out the test.

In TR1 Toni Bou has won, proclaiming himself champion of Spain again. He scored 3 points compared to Albert Cabestany’s 11, who was second, and Adam Raga’s 14, third.

In TR2 Jaime Busto, Marc Prat and Oriol Noguera have climbed to the podium being the three best of the day. The first has penalized 22 times, the second 30 and the third 31. The champion in this category is Jaime Busto.

In TR3, Víctor Batalla took first place with 24 points. In second place was Marc Horrach with 25 and in third place was Rafa Latorre with 41. Marc is the best in Spain in this category.

In Cadet and Junior, the champions were already defined (Arnau Farré in Junior and Gabriel Giro in Cadet) before this test, but that does not mean that the categories have lost excitement. Asís Roldán has taken the victory in Cadete. Sergi Farrés was second and Aniol Gelabert third. In Junior Pierre Sauvage, Marc Riba and Julián Montalvo won today.

With the presentation of trophies, in which the president of the RFME, Ángel Viladoms, was present, the day of Trial and CET 2013 came to an end.

RAGA CET13: “For me it has been a fantastic championship, with five victories in as many scoring events. A magnificent way to end an excellent season, in which with Montesa we have won all the championships in which we have competed. Honestly, you can’t ask for more. We had already achieved it in three previous seasons and this time we have done it with the full number of victories in three championships. Even so, I consider that overall it has not been my best season since winning the outdoor world championship was much more complicated than on previous occasions.”

Adam Raga:I’m very happy today, I started at the front without seeing anything from other riders, neither ruts nor lines, but I think in the end I finished with a good score despite a mistake that I could not have made. There was a lot of fighting to do and I’m pleased to win the runner-up spot. Both in Outdoor and Indoor, and also valuing the World Championship, this has been the best year of the last seven and this must be celebrated.
The next goal is to prepare for the World Indoor Championships and try to do as well as possible. Prepare as much as possible, both rider and bike. This year, both myself and Gas Gas have taken a step forward, and we hope to take another one next season.”
Jorge Casales: “The goal was to try to finish the race. I knew I couldn’t do much, mostly because two days ago they removed the cast from my foot. I’ve gone to finish and try not to hurt myself. I have to thank my backpacker who has helped me a lot and also the team who have adapted the bike so that I could get on it. I’m really looking forward to the fifth place in the championship. It’s been an almost perfect year and I’m really excited for the next one: the Indoor World Championships, which will be my first year.”

Pere Borrellas: “I’m happy with the final result, and although we all finished very close, the goal I had here was to beat Pol to finish sixth in the championship and I did it. It hasn’t been a great year for me, I started well in Ibiza, and then it got a little twisted, but at the end of the year, I went better. The support of Gas Gas has been very noticeable, where in some races I have been able to give everything thanks to the bike”.
