The World Cup arrives in Pobladura

The Trial World Championship arrives in Spain. During the weekend of June 18 and 19, Pobladura de las Regueras (León) will relive a new chapter in the fight that the Spanish riders maintain for the conquest of the command scepter, which after the French race is in the possession of Toni Bou. Behind him, Adam Raga and Albert Cabestany are separated by only one point, and behind them are tied Fajardo and Fujinami. It couldn’t be more exciting.

According to Alfonso Javier Presa (“Titos”), the organization is finalizing the last details in order to ensure that this small town in Bierzo Alto becomes, once again, an unbeatable setting for the dispute of this World Cup. To this end, the management of the race has designed a route that will facilitate the monitoring of the areas by the public.

In this sense, the trial is scheduled with a total of 15 zones; two of them to be carried out in the paddock itself, considered “indoor” (although they are configured with natural elements). The remaining thirteen will be arranged along the route of the permanent trial circuit. Zones 2, 3, 4, 13 and 14 are located less than 200 meters from the paddock, and for zones 5, 6, 7 and 8 there will be a minibus to bring the fan to the zones, “so that the public feels as comfortable as possible,” according to “Titos”.

Pobladura de las Regueras has one of the few approved and authorized trial areas in Spain. The work carried out in favour of the practice of our sport will also have an added reward: the inauguration, on the occasion of the World Cup event, of first-class facilities that have a paddock, parking for caravans, training rooms, cafeteria and various administrative offices.

Soon we will continue to tell you everything that happens around this event, which promises to be vibrant in terms of the classification and the subsequent future of the Championship.
