This is what the areas of Pobladura will be like

ZonesPopulationThe town of Pobladura de las Regueras faces the final stretch to be the center of the world trial on June 18 and 19. For several years, this town in the province of Bier has become a benchmark in national and regional trials, both in classic and modern trial competitions. It is now ready to host the most important event in its trial history: the fourth round of the 2011 Outdoor World Championship.

There is little left of that town we all knew, with a street that was cut off to be the paddock  and the start in the town square. Now, on one side of the town  there are facilities that have little to envy, or perhaps they will be envied by the rest of the areas, not only nationally but worldwide. It has a cafeteria, bungalows where you can sleep,  showers and toilets, washing room for motorcycles, heliport, first aid kit, meeting room, playground for the little ones, parking and, most importantly, a unique place to be able to ride a trial bike freely, not to mention the great offers offered by this area of Bierzo León.

The main protagonist of Pobladura becoming the benchmark of Trial Areas has  been the president of its Neighborhood Council, known as Titos. This man, a miner by profession, has made  Pobladura breathe, live for and for trial with an almost finished project equipped with enviable facilities. Titos has done something for trial that is only reserved for great riders such as Jordi Tarrés or Toni Bou himself; He will go  down in history as one of the people who did the most for trial in this country.

Allis ready with just over two weeks to go until the big event, the information of which you can find in the following previous report. The 15 zones are very clean: a total of 13 zones spread over its entire route an approximate total of six kms, with common water areas in Pobladura, slippery rocks like ice, areas of land that those who run in Pobladura never forget; as well as two indoor areas in the centre of the facilities. One of them has large trunks, while the other is made up of stones and more water with an artificial river.

Here you can see some photos of the areas that are being prepared for the World Championship riders.
