Scorpa’s approach to Adam Raga

raga_500_face. We are in a few key weeks to know what the sporting future of some riders in the Trial World Championship will be. At Trialworld we exclusively announced that Pol Tarrés will not be on a JTG in 2013 and his future may be in Montesa or Sherco. Apparently, today the most likely option for one of the most talented and promising riders in the world is Sherco.

On the other hand Scorpa, whose address is the same as Sherco, is reportedly in talks with Adam Raga. The reigning world runner-up would be facing one of the most important decisions of his sporting career and the odds of continuing at Gas Gas are quite low. In fact, it is said that Raga may have been negotiating with JTG as well and they would have offered him conditions that did not meet his professional expectations.

The topic is hot. Cabestany has just signed a three-year deal with Sherco and it is common knowledge that his personal relationship with Raga is very deteriorated, if not non-existent . If Raga accepts the supposed offer he would have received for Scorpa, we would have two roosters in the same coop. The greatest exponent of this operation would be that Raga signed with the French brand, but instead of wearing orange he did it in blue; that is, to ride a Sherco.

In short, it is a reality that Raga has negotiated, or at least heeded a proposal, on the part of Scorpa. most likely shortly before the Trial of Nations. Surely in a few weeks we will know what is definitely happening with the professional future of the Tarragona rider.

We also know that the approach is not to ride the current SY 280R that we know, -you can see it here– but that it would be an evolution that would already incorporate the “modern” Sherco engine (the current one carries the Sherco 2009). Are we also facing a new renovation of the Scorpa?

Another rider who may be able to surprise us is Fajardo.

From Trialworld we wish the best of luck to all the riders.
