New GoPro Hero3 Sports Camera

GoPro3, CEO of GoPro, has just presented in the United States the new GOPro Hero3 camera model, an evolution of the Hero2, which presents important changes.

The Hero3 incorporates Wi-Fi as standard in all its versions, so that it can be controlled from an iPhone (soon for Android as well) thanks to the specific GoPro app and you can even preview the image through your mobile phone, thus dispensing with the Bacpac LCD accessory.

It’s 3%smaller than the Hero2, 25% lighter, has twice the power and is available in three different models:

– White Edition:
with video recording at 1080p30/960p30/720p60 fps and photo capture at 5MP / 3 fps Burst.

– Silver Edition:
Like the White Edition, but with 11MP / 10fps Burst sensor for photography.

– Black Edition:
the top of the range, with the possibility of recording in 4k/12 fps and 2.7 k/30 fps, video recording at 1440p48/1080p60/720p120 fps and photo taking at 12MP / 30 fps Burst. This version also includes a Wi-Fi remote control.

Prices for the new Hero3 range start at $199.99 for the White Edition, $299.99 for the Silver, and $399.99 for the Black Edition.
