We only needed to know Beta’s plans to know what the final picture of the panorama that fans will find during 2012 in dealerships would be like. Once again, at Trialworld we have been the pioneers at a national level in unveiling the plans of the main Trial brands and now we do the same with a brand that is very popular among users.
Looking ahead to 2012 we see a clear aesthetic change in the EVO, with red predominating strongly, tuned to black graphics that give it a truly bold and elegant look.
However, it is not at an aesthetic level where the bulk of the novelties of the Italian motorcycle are found, but at a thermodynamic level work has been done on an important aspect: increasing the displacement to 300 cc.
The Himself Donato Miglio, legendary driver and Team Manager of Beta, said that “This 300cc engine. it is probably the most important evolution that the Beta EVO has undergone; It’s a bike very similar to the one used by factory riders in the last year: progressive and powerful, with great torque.”
New 2012 range:
* 300 cc engine. With redesigned cylinder to improve combustion characteristics. Significant internal changes have also been made to improve torque and performance in the high-end range . In this way, a more immediate and progressive reaction is achieved when opening the throttle grip, making it easier for novice pilots to handle.
* New clutch discs, in order to provide a feeling of greater traction and grip.
* Radiator thermostat relocated to improve its accuracy and precision.
* Revised gearbox.
* Optimization of the suspension system, with revised settings.
* Relocation of the light control to make it easier to change the handlebars and free up space for the front end.
* Simplified electrical system .
The Beta EVO will be available in dealerships starting in October.
