Montesa’s recent presentation of the new 2017 Trial range involves novelties in both the standard model, the
Montesa Cota 4RT 260 2017
, and the Race Replica version, popularly known as “Repsol Replica”.
Let’s remember that the Montesa Cota 4RT 260 Race Replica differs from its sister in aesthetic and technical aspects. Mechanically it benefits from a starter lever with longer travel, similar to that of the Montesa Cota 300RR.
In the chassis we find Showa suspensions on both axles (Tech + R16V in the standard model) and certain carbon fiber components to give more exclusivity to the model, as well as providing greater protection and saving a few grams.
Mechanically it has no changes and inherits all the improvements made last year in the Cota 4RT range, where engine braking and other small improvements were reduced.

Cota 4RT 260, it also differs in the colour of its frame, which goes from aluminium to the traditional black that has been incorporated by the “Repsol Replica” since 2008.
