GasGas presents its artillery for the 2022 season with the staging of the new GasGas TXT GP, which represents the maximum exponent of the brand in terms of trial.
We were recently able to visit Mattighofen, the hub of KTM, which has owned GasGas since 2019. This contact allowed us to learn first-hand about the brand’s plans and carry out a dynamic test of the GasGas TXT Racing 2021, the little sister of the model we refer to in this presentation.
New Gasgas TXT GP 2022
The GasGas GP model has been on the market since 2017, born with the philosophy of offering the market a great customer race, equipped with “premium” components and inspired by the official motorcycles of Casales and Gelabert.
The first thing that catches the eye is its aesthetics. In keeping with TXT Racing, corporate red is the protagonist, but even more so, offering a truly sporty look.

If you expected that with the arrival of KTM you were going to find dozens of novelties and a radical change of chromatic, you will see that the new GasGas TXT GP 2022 is far from those premises.
Looking ahead to 2022 there is some background work on the part of KTM – GasGas. Aware that the base of the model is of the highest level, efforts have been concentrated on small aspects of mechanics and chassis, focused on taking a step further in the reliability and durability of the whole.

Mechanically there are no modifications compared to its predecessor, which already received a new starting system, in addition to a redesigned clutch cover and water pump, mainly looking for more reliability.
In this GP version we find a stock and stock signed by S3 with the acronym GP laser engraved. There is also a clutch that can be adjusted in preload in three positions, as well as cooling hoses made of silicone.

As for the chassis, we highlight the rear shock, entrusted to Öhlins in team with the Tech fork with 39mm aluminum bars.
One of the great features of the GasGas TXT GP 2022 is the incorporation of a carbon fiber air filter box.
The price of the GasGas TXT GP 2022 is €8,049 for the 300cc version, €7,949 for the 280cc, €7,849 for the 250cc and €7,649 for the 125cc.
