This is the Gas Gas TXT Pro 2019 from Trial. The Girona-based brand is experiencing a sweet moment in the field of competition with the work of Jaime Busto and Jeroni Fajardo, who occupy the second and third positions in the TrialGP World Championship. A work that has served to lay the foundations of a new 2019 range that receives changes both in the aesthetic area, as well as in the engine and the chassis part.

Often the exterior changes are a reflection of an internal renewal, as in the case of the new Gas Gas TXT Racing, whose models this season adopt relevant novelties in the engine section. If we delve into its heart, we find one of the main modifications of this model: new crankshaft bearings that ensure the correct lubrication of the engine, guarantee the tightness of the assembly and, at the same time, allow its comfortable and easy maintenance from the outside.

trial range will be manufactured in the usual 300, 280, 250 and 125 cubic centimeter engines, betting on its compact and lightweight 2-stroke water-cooled single-cylinder engines with six-speed gearbox.

In addition to the proven reliability and resistance of its engines, this range incorporates new Kevlar clutch discs, with a new spring and new variable preload. In this same section, the clutch cover is one of the remarkable novelties of this edition. A cover divided into two parts with the aim of simplifying access and maintenance, and at the same time facilitating the removal of the clutch discs, a manoeuvre that now only requires the simple operation of removing the outer cover.


New elements in the rear axle are added to the new aluminium swingarm with progressive linkage system, the two-way Öhlins hydraulic monoshock – with a travel of 174 millimetres – and the new swingarm mount. These novelties include a tubular chrome-molybdenum chassis and an engine with bearings doubly sealed to the outside, which provide tightness and provide the whole package with a perfect balance between stability, traction and reactive rear damping capacity in the most demanding and committed trial areas for riders.

An absolute redesign of the swingarm and the rear link that give a new progressivity to the models of the new GasGas TXT Racing 2019 range, increasing their stability and improving the traction and precision of the rear axle.
If we move on to the intermediate part, the changes in the anchoring system and the modification of the chassis, to house the new swingarm, have allowed small details such as the replacement of the old tapered head screws of the previous models with the new standard allen type, much more robust and durable. As well as the incorporation of new bearings in the brake pedal, with the aim of eliminating any type of play and maintaining the softness of its touch despite the wear and tear caused by the passage of time in this type of components.

The new design of the front fender concentrates a large part of the novelties of a previous train that is once again committed to the excellent response of the Tech fork – 39 millimeters in diameter and with a travel of 18 centimeters – already used in previous versions of the brand. Components such as Michelin Trial tyres, NG brake discs and Braktec calipers provide a guarantee of quality for users in terms of traction and braking.


GasGas has completely reinvented its great icon in trial. A TXT Racing 2019 range that is presented to Trial lovers with numerous novelties. The first of these, evident to the naked eye, on an aesthetic level with a completely renewed graphics and an accentuated ‘racing’ look. All this thanks to the stylization of its lines and the originality of elements such as the new front fender, integrated into the suspension bridge, or the combination of basic colors such as black, red and white in the plastic and the embellishment of parts such as the new aluminum swingarm or the clutch cover.

The rear axle shows the notable changes that the new GasGas TXT Racing have incorporated in its chassis part, with the premiere of its new swingarm and most of the peripheral components associated with the rear axle. A long list of novelties in this rear headed by the incorporation of a new, more effective brake master cylinder, a new disc guard, anchored directly to the brake caliper, and a new guide for the rear brake hose, which features a new crown guard.

In addition to a practical stand with a new protrusion to facilitate its extension with the sole of the boot, a new detachable chain skate without the need to undo the swingarm and an easy-to-assemble chain tensioner, which now enjoys greater protection.
