Crashes in Trials | The Fiasco

Very good areas!

If I tell you that I have had a disappointment or failure in something in which I expected a good result, do you know what has happened?

Quite simply, I’ve suffered a FIASCO.

This definition allows me to comment on everything related to whena fiasco occurs in trial when facing an area.

There are several trial regulations that define very well what is scored as a fiasco, but I will choose the most recent:

1) The motorcycle backs up and the rider has one or two feet on the ground.

2) The motorcycle crosses a gate or zone boundary with either wheel on the wrong side.

3) Break the belt or pass through it (wheel axle) so that the wheel touches the ground on the other side, when a belt is used as an external boundary of the area or as an internal separation within the area.

4) The rider or motorcycle breaks any signage or signaling stand of its category.

5) The rider gets off the bike and puts both feet on the ground on the same side or behind the rear wheel axle of the motorcycle.

6) The rider does not have both hands on the handlebars at the time of the fault.

7) The pilot receives outside help.

8) The pilot or his mechanic changes the condition of the area.

9) The pilot does not want to start the zone, despite the fact that he had expressed his willingness to do so, when the zone judge tells him to start.

10) The handlebars of the motorcycle touch the ground.

11) The motorcycle makes a closed loop, cutting its own tracks with one of the two wheels.

(12) The motorcycle passes through a zone gate (wheel axle), corresponding to a category other than the one to which it belongs, and in any direction.

13) The rear wheel passes through the entrance sign, end of zone or a door before the front one.

14) The motorcycle engine stalls and the rider incurs a fault.

15) The front axle exits the area through the front door.

16) The pilot does not cross the area within the agreed time.

All these fiascos are penalized with the maximum foul, but there is one that, apart from the points you are awarded, can have more consequences: a fall.

A fall is a movement of a body up and down by the action of its weight due to the attraction exerted on it by the Earth. It is usually a uniformly accelerated movement.

In our sport, it is usually caused by a loss of balance or stability due to the action of one’s own weight. It is also the detachment or separation of the rider from the bike.

In trials, our falls usually involve nothing more than scratches and bruises, some sprain or sprain and perhaps the most serious thing can be the breakage of a bone or limb of our joints.

As in all motorsports, falls are one of the most spectacular moments and that’s why the photographs have enough strength to capture that moment. I leave you with a wide variety of them.

On the other hand, I also want to share three videos.

You can tell that it was my first trial, the truth is that it was very bad (it’s not worth laughing, hahaha…)
