TRRS clutch improvement and smoothing kit

Step by step tutorial for the installation of the TRRS clutch smoothing kit

1) Turn the bike on its side, leaving the clutch cover upwards

2) Remove the clutch cover. It is not necessary to remove the engine oil.

3) Remove the screws to release and extract the original spring preload plate, the spring and the press.

4) We remove the clutch pins, which are like metal petals

5) We take out the first clutch disc, which is made of ferodo.

6) We take out the second disc, which is metallic. This is the disc that we will change.

7) Now the assembly work begins. First of all, we mount the metal disc that comes with the new upgrade kit supplied by Trialworld

8) Next we put the ferodo disc, also provided by the new kit.

9) Now we mount the pins in the order we took them out. These pins have a position. You will see that one side has a kind of ramp. Remember that this side is pointing towards the clutch

10) We place the press, the spring and the preload, with its hexagonal screws. It is important that when we mount the spring the whole assembly is always well centered before tightening.

11) Once we have everything well tightened and centered, it's time to put the cover bearing with grease. Pay attention to the spacer, which is like a washer, which is placed at the time of reassembling the cover. For that we put a little grease, since it remains adhered to the cover and no longer falls off when placing the cover.

12) We close the cover, tightening the screws in cross and keeping the original positions of the screws.

Now we have a TRRS ready to work with a smoother and more progressive clutch
