Toni Bou: “It was a very difficult test, with really tricky sections. I felt good from the start and I was comfortable on the bike, which allowed me to gain an advantage quite early. I feel very satisfied to have regained the lead of the world championship. Two wins in a row are very important, as well as being back at the top of the overall standings. It’s the best incentive for our confidence and motivation.”

Takahisa Fujinami: “I don’t know how to define my feelings. Finishing fourth is not a good result but I think that finishing six points behind second is little difference in such a difficult race. In this sense, and seeing the progress made with respect to the previous test, I feel reasonably comforted. The worst, the fiasco in the easy second zone of the last lap. There, the podium chances have vanished.”

Adam Raga:
“The best thing about the day is that I was able to come back from a very difficult situation. I had a bad first lap, where the controls were very strict and the ‘5’ dropped for anything. But in the end, I can be happy, because I was able to recover lap by lap the disaster of the first one.
The level is the same, I think it’s perfect, and I’m two points behind the new leader. This is just
It means that we have to keep fighting and working harder and better to achieve the goal.”

Jorge Casales: “In zone 1 I started to get nervous, where the judges demanded the ‘man overboard’ and gave me a fiasco for wearing it on my wrist, and in zone two they gave me a yellow card (10 points) for claiming what I thought was fair. Something incredible. I thought this would be my career and I was wrong. I’m turning the page quickly and thinking about the next race.”
