The brands where Adam Raga could compete in 2024

TRS Motorcycles announced on September 13, through a press release, that the professional relationship between the brand and Adam Raga would end at the end of this 2023 season.

Adam Raga rules out retirement as a professional rider and wants to continue racing, at least in 2024.

It seems that the brand where Adam Raga’s name sounds the most is the Sherco team, which would see in Adam a key figure for the development of the new electronic injection model, dropping Jeroni Fajardo from the official bike.

This work plan at Sherco would involve a long-term collaboration in the technical evolution of the bike and also the possibility of taking on a role as head of racing at the brand, once Adam decided to retire as an active professional rider. Therefore, it is an interesting alternative due to the projection, but with more sporting risk as it is a very new motorcycle and needs evolution for high competition.

On the other hand, less likely but very interesting, would be Raga’s move towards GASGAS. This would make sense for the Girona-based brand, now under the umbrella of KTM in Austria, to capitalise on Raga’s popularity towards the brand, also remembering that the brand’s best years in recent decades have been with Adam Raga.

The third possibility, much more remote, but which has been explored, is to place a third official Montesa and have its pilot be Adam Raga. It is not the first time that Montesa has three official bikes in TrialGP and this move would make sense for the brand to have more options to stop Jaime Busto and ensure dominance of the category with its four-stroke bike.
