Pobladura de las Regueras receives the National Trial Championship

More than a month and a half has passed since the last round of the Spanish Championship and in between, the Spanish riders have been focused on the world championship. But this weekend, the focus will be on the small town of León, Pobladura de las Regueras, where less than a month ago we were enjoying

of a course with almost 80 motorcycles.

It is a place with places worth admiring, with very steep areas, techniques, with little grip and with its usual river areas that after the recent rains we have had you will find some areas with abundant water.
For the organization of the race there will be the usual help of the mayor of the town, Titos, and the organization by the Pobladura R Sports Club, in addition to the support of the Castilian Leonese Motorcycling Federation and the RFME.

On this occasion, all categories will be cited, with a race on Saturday and Sunday. For the Women’s A and B, Youth A and B, Veteran categories and the category created this year exclusively for electric motorcycles, E-Trial, it will be their last event on the national calendar in 2018. On the other hand, for the rest of the categories it is the halfway point of their calendar.
Following the line of race design applied in La Nucía, a total of 22 zones will be marked, which will be distributed according to the categories. In this way, areas with the most accurate marking for each category are achieved, as well as avoiding long waiting times. All the riders will start the race in the indoor area, the same place where they will finish, the rest of the areas will be distributed according to the levels.
The The route to be completed in all categories consists of 12 kilometres, on roads with a lot of dust due to the heat but between the mountains of Pobladura where you can enjoy the views, due to the areas of slopes where you can raise more dust, it is advisable to wear glasses to protect ourselves from the dust.

In addition, fans will also be able to attend, paying as little as €5 when they get their accreditation at the race office on Friday or between zones 1 and 2 during the first day of the race.
There could not be a lack of excitement for this event, and the fact is that the classifications of the Spanish Championship this year are very tight.

It’s a shame about Carla Cabelle’s injury that leaves her out of the standings, as she was only able to compete in the first race of the National. We hope she has a speedy recovery and we can see her in the fight for the podium.
In the Women’s B category, the podium will be disputed between Idoia Pey and Mireia Lozano with 2 points less, closing the podium Mariona Tasias followed by Laura Donate with 1 point less than the third.
In the Youth A category, there will be a play-off for the victory between Pau Dinares and Gaudí Vall.
In Juvenil B , Nil Riera arrives as the winner, followed by Marc Piquer and with a disputed third place between Jorge Iglesias and Hugo Barrera, fourth with a difference of 1 point from the third.
In the veterans category there should be another tiebreaker between Javier Palau and Antoni Ramonet.
