Oset Bikes has presented a 2014 range full of technical innovations and new models in order to meet the demand of a wider public, adapting the features and components to the different needs.
Coinciding with the last Children’s Trial Course organized by the Trialworld School, Oset Bikes took the exclusive opportunity to present the new 2014 range and make available to attendees some test units of each model.
Undoubtedly, the result of the work carried out throughout these five years of the brand’s life is absolutely sensational. The icing on the cake is these new models, equipped with new and improved components, as well as new engines to adapt the power and dimensions according to the use and needs of the rider.
OSET BIKES 2014 RANGE WITH SIX MODELS
After finishing first, second, third and fourth in the British championship and first in the Catalan Nens Championship with the 20.0, Oset also brings us a new 800W 16.0. It is a scale replica of its big brother, with improvements to the chassis, controls, rims, suspensions and hydraulic brakes. It is joined by three versions of the 20.0, including an “R” with an oversized rear wheel, the regular 20 and a cheaper Light version.
This year’s 12.5 and 16.0 remain in the lineup with superficial changes, making a total of six bikes for 2014.
OSET BIKES 16.0 R
The OSET BIKES 16.0 R is an all-new bike inspired by the revolutionary OSET 20.0. It has fully adjustable suspension, hydraulic disc brakes and three power controls. The end result is more power, less weight, and more adjustability.
A high-quality fork and spring shock, with adjustable compression and rebound, allow the bike to be perfectly planted at all times, and the ignition key, handlebar switch, charging port and three-dial control center are all easily accessible. Other upgrades include new grips and handlebars, OSET sealed hubs, ergonomic footrests, panels to cover the batteries, and a new aesthetic. The result is a bike that is the new benchmark in the market, and a perfect little sister to the successful OSET 20.0.
OSET BIKES 20.0 LITE
The second new bike is the OSET 20.0 Lite, which fills the gap between the OSET 16.0 and OSET 20.0
The OSET BIKES 20.0 Lite is longer and taller than the OSET BIKES 16.0, it uses the motor of the OSET BIKES 20.0, but at 36v for smoother power delivery. The three-dial controller allows you to adjust power, speed, and throttle response. It comes with the same high specification as the new OSET 16.0R and, although larger, only weighs 2kg more.
The latest addition to the range is the OSET BIKES 20.0 Racing. This machine is aimed at children between 8 and 12 years old and is ready for competition. Highlights include its three-inch rear wheel and deep profile racing tyre that improve grip, and its aluminium swingarm, already tested in the British Fry Championship, and which helps to achieve the necessary techniques in competitions. The aluminium rear sprocket mount allows sprockets to be mounted between 66 and 98 teeth.
The OSET BIKES 20.0 is, without a doubt, the preferred bike in national children’s competitions in England, and has taken the first four places in the British Championship (6-9 years old), taking 75% of the entries. With this pedigree, the new OSET BIKES 20.0R is guaranteed the podium.
To accompany the OSET BIKES 20.0R we have the OSET BIKES 20.0 Eco, the evolution of the 2013 model. It comes with many improvements and a totally new look, while the adjustment module, ignition key and charging port have been relocated in the tank.
The new three-dial controller ensures the right set-up for every rider and power delivery from beginner to competition level. The speed regulator allows beginners to ride safely. The suspension springs have been revised, and new grips and handlebars, an improved electrical installation with connectors resistant to the elements, and Yuasa batteries with new bindings underline OSET BIKES’ commitment to constantly improving.
OSET BIKES 12.5 AND OSET BIKES 16.0 ECO
The OSET BIKES 12.5 and OSET BIKES 16.0 Eco 36v are two proven machines with an excellent price/quality ratio. The 16.0 Eco features OSET/Kenda “Nevis” tires, a wide rear wheel, and a wide chain and sprocket. With its powerful 750w electric motor, excellent front and rear suspension, front and rear disc brakes, and bulletproof reliability, this model is perfect for beginners
The smallest bike in the range, the OSET BIKES 12.5 remains simple, robust and easy to handle for smaller riders between 2-5 years old. It has front and rear suspension, brake levers designed for little handymen, fully enclosed chain and fantastic reliability.
