, multiple Trial World Champion currently retired from top competition, announces the arrival of a new stage in his professional career.
Lampkin leaves his relationship with Gas Gas to embark on an ambitious project owned by Manuel Jané, a Spanish great trial enthusiast, for the design and development of a new trial bike that will be called Vertigo.
The new Trial Vertigo will see the light in thenot too distant future under a concept based on what the day-to-day fan demands, but with the potential to participate in the highest competition.

In addition to his role in terms of design and development of the new Vertigo, Lampkin will also take part in the races where he regularly participates, such as the Six Days of Scotland, Scott Trials and other prestigious competitions.
Dougie Lampkin: “First of all I would like to thank the Gas Gas factory for their support over the last three years, especially John Shirt in the UK. Just like when I joined Gas Gas in 2011, at this stage of my professional career it is important to have new challenges to keep me motivated. I have known the owner of this project for many years and while I can count on him as a friend and Trial fan, the most important thing is that he is a serious and successful businessman, who also shares my same desire for the project to be a success.”

According to the brand owner: “For many years creating our own bike has been our dream and now with Dougie in our team we have the opportunity to make it happen.
