The young man from Lleida will become part of the competition structure of the Gas Gas Factory Team from the 2014 season.
Gas Gas, in its constant search for excellence, not only in its motorcycles, but also in the riders who defend the colors of the Girona brand, has just incorporated the young Arnau Farré, 15 years old, to the official factory team.
Arnau Farré, from Vilanova de Segrià (Lleida), is yet another link in the long and successful chain of great Trial talents who have been part of the Girona brand’s promotion programme, the Gas Gas School of Champions, where young and brilliant riders such as Jorge Casales, 2013 Junior World Champion or, at the time, Adam Raga, Absolute World Champion in 2005 and 2006, have passed.
In fact, Farré returns to what was his mark during his first participations in Trial and where he achieved his first results that encouraged him to continue in this sport. With the Gas Gas TXT Boy 50 he made his debut in competition at just six years of age to continue reaping success with the Cadet 80, Rookie 80 and Rookie 125 cc.
Arnau Farré’s competition calendar in 2014 will be very complete: he will compete in the Spanish Trial Championships in the TR2 category and he also plans to make his debut in the Junior World Championship, although to do so, he will have to wait until he turns 16. The fifth round of the competition, in Belgium, will be where Farré will participate for the first time in the Junior World Championships.
Arnau will take part in the competitions with Gas Gas TXT Pro Standard, unlike his teammates Jorge Casales (Gas Gas TXT Pro 300 Racing) and Adam Raga (Gas Gas TXT Pro 300 Replica Factory). One of Arnau’s goals is to combine his studies with competition. Next season he plans to move to Girona, where he will coincide with Team Gas Gas rider Jorge Casales.
