Jorge Casales: “I’ve prepared differently this season, I’m fresher and adapted to the bike”

After coming very close to third place in the 2020 TrialGP World Championship, Jorge Casales faces this new season with one goal in mind, to fight for the podium in every round.

With a revised approach to his training and having focused on the development of his TXT GP 300, Casales is keen to unleash his true potential in 2021 and establish himself as one of the riders capable of aiming for the podium at every race.

Jorge will have a teammate this year within the official GasGas structure in the top category: Miquel Gelabert. There are also changes in the management of the team, where Albert Cabestany makes his debut as Team Manager.

QUOTES jorge casales

Jorge Casales"I've prepared for this season a little differently than in previous years. My last race was in November, and as I started the championship later this year, I was able to prepare with more peace of mind. I don't want to abuse my body and I need to be fresh for the first race of the championship. Recently we've been working on the bike to keep evolving it to suit my style, and I'm very happy with the set-up we have now. I was already comfortable with it, but it's good to keep looking for improvements. Last year was really positive for me. I was regularly in the top positions at both the World Championships and the Spanish Championships throughout the season. Unfortunately, I had a problem in one of the world championship races where I struggled to finish and that meant finally losing the third place that I already had to touch. It was frustrating, but I also learned from it. My main goal is to be on the podium in every race."
