Jaime Busto wins the CET in Valdemanco and caresses the title

The fourth round of the Spanish Trial Championship was held in the Madrid town of Valdemanco on Sunday. The categories convened were TR1, TR2, TR3, TR4, Female TR1, Junior, Cadet 125cc and Cadet with their best riders giving their all to be in the boxes of honor.

The weather conditions were the protagonists of the initial hours of the race where rain and fog made an appearance in the first areas. Then they dried and were not excessively complicated except for a few steps.

JAIME BUSTO REINFORCES HIS LEAD IN TR1

The featured riders in the top category, TR1, were Jaime Busto and Gabriel Marcelli. Both were fighting for the victory throughout the day but it went to the Vertigo rider who had a very good second lap.

Miquel Gelabert rounded out the top three while Adam Raga and Pablo Suárez completed the top five.

In TR2, Oriol Noguera won with 30 points compared to 31 for Pau Martínez, who was second. Both offered a nice duel. Gaudí Vall finished third. Jordi Sanjuan, Rodrigo Marchal and Jordi Camp were the members of the TR3 podium with 23 , 28 and 35 penalties each.

Dani Comas was superior to the rest of his category rivals and won in TR4. Héctor Gairín finished second and Jordi Ramonet third.

OTHER CATEGORIES

Marc Freixa won in the Junior category ahead of Hugo Barrera and Mateu Crespi who could do nothing to prevent the victory of the Gas Gas rider. Marcos Combarro, Ángel Llopis and Aniol Llamas were the protagonists of Cadete 125cc. Combarro was superior to the others with a total of 22 points. Llopis had 33 and Llamas 42.

Bernat Vendrell, Jaume Gost and Oleguer Vilardaga occupied the three places of honour of the Cadet podium as first, second and third, respectively, as they had fewer penalties than the rest of the participants in this category.

Eva Muñoz and Daniela Hernando put up an unparalleled battle in the top category of the girls. Both scored the same points but Eva made less time in the race and that’s why she was the winner. Daniela had to settle for second and Mariona Tasias closed the top three.

The fifth and final round of the SPEA RFME Spanish Trial Championship will be held in Cal Rosal, Barcelona, on the weekend of November 12 and 13.

DECLARATIONS

GABRIEL MARCELLI (P2)"Positive balance of the weekend: from zone 1 I felt very good on the bike and we were able to fight for the victory until the last sections. In the end it got away from us. I made a few mistakes, especially on the second lap. Overall, it felt very good on the bike and also with the whole team and now we have to keep gritting our teeth for the last race to try to achieve the goal that remains which is the victory."

adam raga (P4)"Today we can't be satisfied with the result of the race. During the first lap we made some extra mistakes that we later paid dearly for, since not even with the significant improvement in the second pass through the sections we managed to be on the podium. Now it's up to us to keep working to achieve the best result in the last round of the CET."
