Jaime Busto Spanish Trial Champion 2021

The 2021 Spanish Trial Championship closed this past weekend in Aitona, Lleida. The categories convened were TR1, TR2, TR3, TR4, Junior, Cadet and Cadet 125cc of which, in some of them, it was not yet known who would be the champion.

The Moto Club Aitona was in charge of the organization of the race that located the paddock in the Sports Zone of the city, prepared some areas according to each level and for which the riders had to give 200%.

Busto wins his first national TR1 title

Jaime Busto, with 13 penalties, won the Aitona race, which took him directly to the first step of the podium and to be the owner of the gold medal in 2021. Adam Raga finished second with 16 and Gabriel Marcelli third with 34.

In TR2, Alex Canales took the victory with a total of 16 points in his locker, leaving Pau Martínez second and Sergio Ribau third. In this category, the champion has been Canales himself , who finished the season in the best possible way, on the top step of the podium.

Francesc Recio beat the rest of his category rivals and, moreover, with only 2 penalty points. He was a long way from Jordi Sanjuan who was second with 15 and Joaquín Salcedo, third with 26. Sergio Moreno, who was fifth in Aitona, is the TR3 champion.

In TR4 Dani Comas won while Adrià Albejano and Héctor Gairín had to settle for second and third, respectively. With these results, Gairin needed 15 points to be the best of the year.

Fabián, Riera and Redondo, the best in Junior, Cadet 125cc and Cadet

In Junior Marc Freixa, with a very good second lap, took the victory in Aitona. Marc Piquer qualified second and Mateu Crepi third, separated by only 1 point and offering a nice fight between the two. David Fabian collected his gold medal at the end of the event.

Nil Riera, Xurxo Neo and Miquel Alarcón, with 32, 37 and 40 points, were the outstanding riders of Cadete 125cc. Things were very even between them and the classification was resolved by small details. With this victory, Riera is the champion of this category.

Jorge Redondo was the winner of the Cadet category , leaving Joan Miquel García in second position and Jordi Povedano in third. As had happened in Cadete 125cc, Redondo won and took the title of the current season.

When the race ended and the race trophies were awarded, the champions, runners-up and third-placed picked up their gold, silver and bronze medals as the best of the year.
