Fantom Motorcycles Trial 4T Prototype

Fantom Motorcycles represents the project of two brothers who have patented what will be the first mass-produced trial bike with a horizontal engine
In the context of a market with multiple brands and technical solutions, new opportunities continue to open up. If a few months ago we talked about the
Tenaci Wong
, a “low cost” model manufactured in Asia, now it is Fantom Motorcycles, a brand conceived in national territory, who proposes another alternative for the low/medium level user looking for a more affordable product.

The project is promoted at the UPC (Polytechnic University of Catalonia) through the “Exporer, young people with ideas” program of Banco Santander, for which we have been selected. They also have the help of the “Centre de Suport a l’Empresa” of Gavà, an organization that is part of the “Xarxa Emprèn” of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

The prototype is still under development and may incorporate changes before going on the market, so at the moment only the following technical characteristics are confirmed:
– Steel frame
– 4t engine (displacement to be defined between 140cc and 200cc)
– Air and oil cooling via radiator

According to its creators:

“With the Fantom Motorcycles we intend to contribute to democratizing the current offer, as it will be an accessible, low-maintenance, lightweight motorcycle and ideal for getting started in this sport without paying large amounts. In addition, this project was born with the challenge of expanding Trial beyond the countries where the industry of this sport is currently present.
As you will soon see, it even performs well in demanding areas, although our target will be the beginner/beginner level user and the intermediate level. Also those pilots from other specialties who want to practice this sport in a complementary way to improve their technique.”
