Bernie Schreiber, Trial World Champion in 1979, still enjoys trial at the age of 63.
The American rider is a great fan of trial and, despite his professional retirement in 1987, it is common to see him in different international competitions enjoying himself, either riding or as a spectator.
In this case we have him enjoying the trial on a TRRS One RR 2022 in the United States, in a photo provided by the local importer, Jim Snell.
ABOUT BERNIE SCHREIBER
Bernie Schreiber (born January 20, 1959 in Los Angeles, California) is a retired American trial racer. He was World Champion in the 1979 season at just 20 years old, being the youngest driver to do so until then, and is still the only American driver to have ever won this championship.
Schreiber is best remembered for making trials evolve spectacularly thanks to his innovative riding style. At the end of the 70s he revolutionized the World Championship with his characteristic style, in which the turns with the front wheel in the air, the activation of the clutch with a single finger and even small jumps with both wheels in the middle of the area stood out, reaching jump with his Bultaco Sherpa over eight people pulled on the ground in Indoor events.
