A BIT OF HISTORY...
El Santigosa was born in 1970 with a one-day trial driven by three friends, Oriol Guixà, Jordi Permanyer and Miquel Canal , but quickly involved a large number of riders from San Juan de las Abadesas who in 1972 made the first 3 Days Trial Santigosa a reality, inspired by the Six Days of Scotland.
In the mid-1970s, the 3DTS became an international benchmark with the participation of the best drivers in the world, who helped to grow the myth of being one of the toughest and most demanding races on the planet. Over the course of five decades, Santigosa has seen the birth and growth of great stars of the sport such as Doug Lampkin, Toni Bou and Laia Sanz.
