TRIAL BIKE COOLING SYSTEM
Nowadays all trial motorcycles are liquid cooled. This allows the bike to maintain a constant engine temperature and always work at full capacity. It does not usually cause problems, but both electrical and mechanical components are involved.
PROBLEMS WITH THE WATER PUMP ON THE TRIAL BIKE
The most common problem in the cooling circuit of a trial bike is a broken water pump. When the water pump seal breaks or is damaged, the water ends up mixing with the engine oil and a whitish paste forms in the engine. To repair it, there are water pump kits that also include bearings, impeller, shaft, clips and seals. Normally it is convenient to replace everything together, since there may be an initial problem that has dragged others in a hidden way.
In the mechanical part we have the trial bike fan and in the electrical part the thermocontact, which is responsible for activating the fan when the engine temperature reaches its optimum.
One of the most common improvements in the cooling circuit is to place silicone sleeves, with greater capacity for expansion and elasticity, improving performance and water circulation compared to the original ones.
All the accessories and spare parts for the trial motorcycle engine are available at Trialworld Store, the online trial store best rated by fans.
