[VIDEO] Victories for Adam Raga and Toni Bou in France

GPFRANCE2015 podiumbest riders in the trial world arrived in France this past weekend, the fifth stage of the calendar, to compete in the ninth and tenth round of the 2015 world championship. France also marks the halfway point of the championship and the start of three frenetic weeks for the riders, who will compete in 3 double-header races full of excitement and equality.

In France, an extremely tough race was held. Aldon, a French town located at an altitude of more than 1,400 metres, was the scene of a double day with a long route and sweltering heat, giving rise to a very physically demanding trial but not excessively difficult for the leading riders.

Toni Bou arrived in Andon with a full of victories under his belt and a comfortable lead at the head of the general classification. On Saturday, he had no trouble winning the game, carding 21 points to Adam Raga’s 39. On the podium they were joined by Takahisa Fujinami after a nice fight with Cabestany, who was finally fourth. Of particular note on this first day is the return to competition of Jorge Casales after his ankle injury; Although the Galician rider is not yet 100%, he signed a good eighth place.

On the second day, things got complicated for the leader. Against a very focused and successful Raga, the reigning champion was not able to overcome a bad second round, where a fall and an additional fiasco ended his chances of victory.

Fantastic triumph for Adam Raga, who is making a great effort to save the season after the announcement of non-continuity by Gas Gas. Adam is now receiving support from his sponsors and the official structure of the Top Trial Team. They were joined on the podium by Jeroni Fajardo, who continues to have an excellent season and consolidates third place in the championship, just 23 points behind Raga. Fujinami once again had a nice fight with Cabestany, winning the game by only two points. In the general standings, only one point separates them.
