Vertigo and the Gelabert brothers agree to dissolve their contracts

Through an official statement from the brand, which we proceed to transcribe in full, the Gelabert brothers and Vertigo agree to the dissolution of their respective contracts less than a month before the start of the 2020 Trial World Championship.
Motorcycle Trial Offers

Vertigo wants to make official through this statement the dissolution, by mutual agreement, of the contracts of Miquel and Aniol Gelabert, both members of the factory team and who were to participate in the TrialGP World Championship, Trial2 and the Spanish Championship in the highest category. The decision is a direct consequence of the impact generated by the Covid-19 pandemic on a global scale and on the motorcycle sector in particular. With the constant cancellations and modifications to the calendars of the TrialGP World Championship and the National Championship, it was agreed that this was the best solution to ensure the viability of the current and future projects that both parties wish to focus on.
Vertigo will now direct all its efforts in the evolution of its motorcycles together with its flagship rider, Jaime Busto, while maintaining its international portfolio of top-level riders with Berta Abellán, Jack Price, Lorenzo Gandola, Hugo Dufrese, and Pau Martínez, names that are under the tutelage of 12-time Trial World Champion Dougie Lampkin, current Team Manager and developer Vertigo, will continue to form one of the youngest and most promising squads in the current trial.
The Vertigo team would like to thank Miquel and Aniol Gelabert for their professionalism and full dedication to the project during the short but intense period of time in which they have ridden for the brand. From the factory we wish them the best in their future projects and a professional career full of success in the world of trial.
