The second round of the Spanish Classic Trial Cup that was to be held this weekend in Morcín (Asturias) has been postponed as a precaution due to the expansion of the COVID19 in the region. This morning the president of the RFME, Manuel Casado, together with his counterpart from the Asturian Federation, Luis Molina, and the Mayor of the town, Maximino García Suárez, met to discuss this matter and it has been decided to move the event to mid-November.
In addition to the measures set out in the protocols to prevent contagion created by the RFME, it has been agreed to take the trial out of the urban area on the outskirts of the Foz de Morcín, using the old Del Pozo Minero Monsacro facilities for the paddock.
