Dani Comas, former BikeTrial World Champion and also a great specialist in trial bikes, embarked last year on the ambitious project of launching his own brand of trial equipment and components. This time we are going to test their equipment for the trial bike.

COMAS TRIAL EQUIPMENT
We received a complete Comas Trial kit to make a more precise technical assessment of its qualities and performances. Unlike other brands, Comas opts for a single collection, but with three different color combinations. Other brands prefer to have two collections in their catalogue, a thinner and more elastic one with a lot of lycra, and a second more traditional line. At Comas they have opted for an intermediate version that combines the advantages of both styles: elasticity, protection and durability.
The

incorporate very interesting design solutions. We find inserts with elastic material in key places, such as the top of the knees or below the waist at the back, allowing an optimal fit regardless of the rider’s movements. This is also helped by a very elastic waistband with silicone inserts and a micro-adjustable closure. In addition, the trousers have a pocket with a zip closure, ideal for carrying your card or a small object.

, ventilation has also been taken care of, including small grilles that increase the airflow inside the garment. The seams are well finished and on the inside of the knees there is a protector that prevents possible burns or tears of the fabric with the body of the motorcycle.
And one of the most relevant details is the incorporation of approved external knee pads already integrated into the pants themselves. These are easily removable for washing the garment, or if the user prefers another knee protection solution.

, this is a light and very breathable garment, suitable for both motorcycles and bikes. Mesh-like materials are combined to increase airflow, with stretchy and breathable fabrics for flex zones. The manufacture is made of polyester, lycra and spander.

“The kit has surprised us, starting with its aesthetics, which is brutal and precisely combines very well despite having traditional colors in trial. I like the difference in texture between the t-shirt and the different parts of the pants, each fulfilling its function. The trousers are elastic that adapt well to the body, with a lot of elastomer to prevent wrinkles from appearing. Also noteworthy are the reinforcements in heat-sensitive areas, such as the exhaust. As for the knee pads, they fit well and the comfort of putting them on as a single garment with the pants. The T-shirt looks breathable as well as robust. All in all, good impressions with this Comas Trial kit.”
