In July 2019, TRRS introduced its racing bike with electric start. After almost three years, it is still the only one on the market and 40% of customers opt for this new style.
In the first year, the brand decided to include the electric starter motor only in the Xtrack models, so that the customer would get to know it and gain confidence in it. In 2020, after the sale of more than 140 units between July and December of the previous year, TRRS decided to incorporate this start into competition bikes such as GOLD, ONE RR, ONE R and ONE.
As Marc Arañó explains, in 2020, 700 riders opted for the electric option, in 2021 300 more riders joined and now so far in 2022 a total of more than 2,300 electric starters have already been sold.
