Toni Bou wins in Baiona and leaves the National Trial Championship sentenced

Bou Outdoor NAC13A very intense day was experienced this Sunday in the Galician municipality of Baiona. The TR1, TR2, TR3, TR4, Junior and Cadet categories have participated in one more event of their race calendar.

Under the watchful eye of a large audience, the riders competed spectacularly and thrilled the fans gathered in the 12 areas prepared by the organization. The former were quite technical and wet while the latter were less complicated and dry as the day progressed.

The Trial has been carried out by the Peña Moteros ValMiñor whose president, José Durán, was very happy at the end of it, as was the Galician Motorcycling Federation itself: “After a week of very hard work to set up the race with the inclement weather suffered, the satisfaction of seeing so many people enjoy this magnificent show is very gratifying. I just want to thank our partners, collaborators, friends, sponsors and authorities for the help they gave us, and I hope the drivers enjoyed it as much as the public.”

In TR1, Toni Bou took the victory, getting very close to the championship title. Only with 4 points in the last round of the year would he achieve it. Jeroni Fajardo and Adam Raga have been on the podium with him. In TR2 Jaime Busto won with 25 points, followed by Oriol Noguera (26) and Miguel Gelabert (54).

Marc Horrach was the winner of TR3. He has scored 23 compared to Adrián Artidiello’s and Rafa Latorre’s 36. In TR4 Jesús Fuentes, Rubén García and Roberto Bautista have climbed the podium in this order in Pontevedra.

In Junior, Nacho Fernández-Sancho has only added 7 penalties that have taken him directly to the first step of honor. Arnau Farré and Marc Riba were second and third, respectively. Finally, in Cadet, Gabriel Marcelli, Gabriel Giro and Sergi Farrés have been classified as the best.

On October 27, a new CET test will be held with the TR3, TR4, Junior, Cadet, Youth and Female categories in Cabanillas de la Sierra, Madrid, by the Motoclub Moberss.

Toni Bou: “It was a perfect day. I felt really good on the bike, I won and the combination of the final result put me just four points away from the title. After having achieved such an intense World Championship and having won the first three rounds of this one, my situation was now conducive to tranquility. Now all that’s left is to finish off in the next round to close the season in the best possible way.”

Adam Raga: “I can say that the trial went quite well for one reason: I started first and, opening sections, it was quite difficult. For this reason, given how the terrain was, I can say that I didn’t go badly, and finishing third is a good result. I did a few extra feet, but the score wasn’t bad. The bike, as always, worked very well. Everything went perfectly: bike, backpacker and equipment.”

Jorge Casales: “I’m very happy with the result. In this trial I raced with a lot of pressure, because I was at home and with all the people cheering me on and supporting me, it was more complicated to do well so as not to disappoint them. Also, my main rival had been making things difficult for me at the World Cup and I didn’t know if I would continue at the Nationals.
The controls haven’t supported me either because I’m at home, so the result is real and that’s why I’m also happy. The rest is also super-good: the team, the bike, my mechanic Gregori, and my backpacker David Darnés. The bike is getting better and better and I’m very happy, very adapted to it.”
