National Trial Preview in Baiona – 28 – 29 Sept

Raga 480 OutAfter the great results achieved by the Spanish Trial riders both in the World Championship of the specialty and in the men’s and women’s Trial of the Nations, the time has come for the fans of our country to enjoy them on national soil.

Categories TR1, TR2, TR3, TR4, Junior and Cadet will meet in Baiona to compete in the fourth round for Pro, the fifth for TR2 and the seventh for the rest of the classes. The race will be run by the Peña Moteros ValMiñor whose president, José Durán and his entire team, have been working for weeks to offer a great test to fans and riders.

The paddock will be located in the Parque de la Palma. On Saturday, the verifications will be passed and the pilots will be able to visit the areas prepared by the organization. On Sunday, the best Trial competition will take place in the municipality of Baiona.

After the three rounds held in TR1 Toni Bou is first with 60 points, followed by Adam Raga with 49 and Albert Cabestany with 45. In TR2 Jaime Busto is the leader with 69, Oriol Noguera follows him in the standings with 65 points and Carles Traviesa is third with 59.

Rafa Latorre, Marc Horrach and Adrián Artidiello are the three riders who lead the TR3 general standings, while Jesús Martín, Roberto Bautista and Rubén García lead the TR4 standings. They are all very even in points.

In Junior, Arnau Farré leads the standings. He has 114. Nacho Fernandez – Sancho is second with 91 and Marc Riba third with 88. Gabriel Giró, Marc Miquel and Oriol Pi lead the Cadete. The first two are only 1 point apart from each other.

The riders will start arriving in Pontevedra on Friday to prepare fully for the event. A test that is quite decisive for everyone’s aspirations, since there are fewer and fewer to be held in 2013.
