Toni Bou: “Today is a special day. When you win a championship, it’s a big thing. It’s been a special season, with problems with my back at the start of the year. I’ve been able to improve little by little, almost reaching the best season. Finally, this race has been a perfect race and I have won the title, which I want to thank everyone who has helped me achieve it, the whole team and the family and friends. This moment is very special, more than I could have dreamed of. Now I’m going to enjoy the moment, think about tomorrow’s race and for next season, improve and try to do better.”
Miquel Cirera (Team Manager): “This 20th title for Toni Bou is incredible; He is achieving things that no one has achieved to date and, obviously, being able to share it with him is a pleasure. He is an exceptional driver, but above all, a great person. Today he was presented with a difficult test and he was able to set the tone. He rode calmly, which was not easy, with his rivals making high points, and it worked out very well. He has won the championship by the front door. I’m sure that after the 20th, Toni will want to keep adding more titles.”
