Toni Bou is injured but will be ready for the start of the World Cup

Toni Bou suffered a fall yesterday during a day of training in which he injured his right shoulder. After going to the Creu Blanca Clinic in Barcelona for an MRI and being visited by a specialist, he has been diagnosed with a partial rupture of the subscapularis tendon of the right shoulder.

For this reason, the rider and the Montesa Honda Team have decided, as a precaution, not to take part in tomorrow’s FIM X-Trial des Nations race in Nice. In the meantime, the reigning World Champion will begin a conservative medical treatment that will allow him to be, with the maximum guarantees, at the start of the FIM Trial World Championship (outdoor) that will take place on
April 9 and 10 in Olvan/Cal Rosal
, Barcelona.

RAGA TO REPLACE TONI BOU AT X-TRIAL OF NATIONS

Tomorrow, Friday, April 1, the X-Trial of Nations will be held at the Palais Nikaïa in Nice (France), where Adam Raga will replace the injured Toni Bou.

The great novelty of this year is that at least one of the members must be under 25 years of age, so Adam Raga’s partner on this occasion will be Jaime Busto, who will try to give his best to achieve his first international title at the controls of the Montesa Cota 4RT.

The teams will be:

Spain: Adam Raga and Jaime Busto

Great Britain: James Dabill and Iwan Roberts

Italy: Matteo Grattarola and Gianluca Tournour

France: Alexandre Ferrer and Benoit Bincaz

USA: Bryan Roper / Andrew Putt
