The national Trial is decided in Cal Rosal

bou_nac_480With the recent news of the new FIM regulations for the Cto. of the Trial World that will be Non Stop, on Sunday 18 will be held in Cal Rosal, Barcelona, the last round of the national of the specialty. The national Trial in the TR1, TRJunior, TR2, TR3, TRCadete and TR3 +35 categories will end this weekend in the Catalan province of Barcelona. According to the list of entries managed by the RFME, a good number of riders will be in the race and some of them as important as Toni Bou, Adam Raga or Albert Cabestany.

In two of the six classes that are going to meet in Cal Rosal we already have a champion. In TRJunior, Jaime Bustó, with 160 points, has the title in his pocket, but his teammates Nacho Martín López de Armentía and Nacho Fernández-Sancho will fight for the runner-up position. In TR3 Francesc Recio is also champion, with Héctor Gairin and Marc Horrach who will face each other to be second overall. Both only have a one-point difference.

In the rest of the categories, everything is to be decided. In TR1, Toni Bou will give his all to take one more title this year, but he will have to face Adam Raga. Toni has 94 points and Adam 85. The third place is Albert Cabestany with 73 and he enjoys every chance of finishing in a better place.

Carles Traviesa and Iván Peydró will be the drivers who will fight for the championship in TR2. The former has 90 points compared to the latter’s 74. Marcos Méndez is third overall with 62.

In TRCadete Marc Riba and César Dus will be in charge of putting the excitement in this categoryeven though the Catalan has it easier to be champion. Adrián Villabrille will have to focus on César to achieve the runner-up position. Both have the same points.

Finally, in TR3 +35, Rubén García (111) is the one who has all the ballots to be the winner this year, but Antoni Ramonet (95) will try to change this. Manuel García, on the other hand, will fight with Antoni for the runner-up spot.

The route will consist of 10km and 11 areas plus the indoor area spread around the municipality of Olvan, very accessible for the fans who come to the race. The paddock, the indoor area and the secretariat will be located within the urban core of the municipality.

Those registered in the TR1 category will do one lap of the 12 zones with two consecutive passes to them, the rest of the classes will do two laps of the course and the zones.

On Saturday, the drivers will be able to visit the areas at the agreed time (exact time in “Race Information”). From 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the administrative and technical checks will be carried out and at 7:15 p.m. the departure times will be published.

The Sunday at 8:30 a.m. the first participant will start. Between 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., the trophies will be awarded to the winners of this last round of the Spanish Trial Championship.
