The British TrialGP at risk of not taking place

The fifth round of the
TrialGP World Championship
, which should be held in the British town of Tong in less than a month, on 8 and 9 July, is currently in danger of not taking place.
This was announced last Friday, June 9, by the organizers of the British TrialGP, Dirt Bike Action. They have notified the ACU (British Federation) that for undisclosed commercial reasons they will not proceed with their plans to host the fifth round of the 2017 FIM Trial World Championship at Tong, Bradford.
The ACU, together with the promoter of the World Championship, Sport7, are currently in urgent talks with the FIM, the owner of the land and other key parties with the intention of ensuring that the event will be held at the same place and on the same dates.
Further news on this matter will be given in the coming days, once all parties involved have had the opportunity to discuss the best possible way to reach an agreement in these unfortunate circumstances.
