Appointment with altitude at the demanding Andorran GP

The TrialGP World Championship returns to action this weekend with the third round of the calendar, which will take place in Andorra. Toni Bou, the undisputed leader of the championship, is eager to race at home and analyses one of the most complicated races of the season.

The third round of the TrialGP calendar will take us, this weekend, to Sant Julià de Lòria, Andorra. The small country in the Pyrenees will be the scene of a new duel, after those experienced in Camprodón and Motegi, this time at high altitude. The areas located in the Naturlandia area, at more than 1,600 metres, will decide the winner of the Andorra TrialGP in a single race day.

Toni
Bou, the championship leader, is yet to taste defeat this season and intends to continue the dominance with another triumph “at home”, as Bou resides a mere twenty kilometres from the place where the race will be held. The Repsol Honda Team rider has a fifteen-point margin over second-placed
Adam Raga
. The provisional third position goes to Jeroni Fajardo, who leads an intense fight with Cabestany, fourth with one point less, and Fujinami, who is one behind the latter.
Also in that fight are James Dabill and Jaime Busto. The Basque rider of the Repsol Honda Team, who is a regular in Japan, will try to change the trend and fight to overtake his Repsol Honda Team teammates in a race that he hopes will suit his style better.
