The 2022 X-Trial World Championship Stats

The statistics of the X-Trial World Championship never cease to amaze us. From Toni Bou’s dominance of 16 titles to a streak of consecutive podiums for Adam Raga since 2014. A feast of data to which new guests arrive, such as Jaime Busto, who won the X-Trial in Andorra.

In 2022, of the 5 victories at stake, Toni Bou has achieved 4 and Jaime Busto one.

Bou and Adam Raga were the only ones to remain on the podium in each of the races. In addition to them, 4 other riders have managed to step on the podium throughout the year, Jaime Busto (2), Matteo Grattarola (2), Gabriel Marcelli (1) and Toby Martyn (1).

In the manufacturers’ section, Montesa and TRRS have visited the podium on 6 occasions, Beta on 2 and Vertigo on 1.

16 X-TRIAL TITLES FOR TONI BOU

The 16-time World Champion has been the only one to finish any round of the 5 races held at 0, specifically on 2 occasions, in the X-Trial Andorra la Vella. In Nice he was penalised by a single point in each of the first two rounds and in the first he was equalled by Grattarola.

Two finals have been decided by just one point: Chalon-sur-Saône (Bou 7 – Raga 8) and Andorra la Vella (Busto 4 – Bou 5).

HISTORY OF X-TRIAL WINS

Toni Bou tops the all-time X-Trial win list with 73, followed by Adam Raga (38), Dougie Lampkin (36), Marc Colomer (33) and Albert Cabestany (18).

Raga has 122 podiums to Cabestany’s 90, Bou’s 87, Lampkin’s 80 and Colomer’s 76.
