Gas Gas will be looking for its third consecutive victory in the Trial-E World Championship, reserved for
electric trial motorcycles
. The big news this season is the arrival of Albert Cabestany, who officially retired from the TrialGP category last December.
This world championship of electric trial motorcycles will be resolved in just fifteen days, coinciding with the Dutch GP and the Belgian GP. Gas Gas starts as favourites, as both Colomer and Gubian, who will defend the crown this year, took the TXE to the top, but in this 2019 season the competition is stronger.
Among the great protagonists we also have Kenichi Kuroyama, eleven times Japanese Champion and world champion in the highest category in specific races, who will once again be at the controls of the brand new Yamaha TYE. Already in 2018 he was on the verge of achieving victory. Kenichi will make sure he is mentally more prepared this year to understand what the riding style should be like on these electrically powered bikes.
Another brand that is making a strong comeback is Electric Motion, whose E-Pure prototype is already on the assembly lines. Gianpaolo Concina will take the helm this weekend.
And finally, Mecatecno, which repeats its presence with Joan Cordón. In short, six drivers and four brands.
