Termignoni exhaust for Ossa TR 280i

ossa_termignoni_400The most revolutionary and eagerly awaited bike of 2011 does not cease to evolve its only model, although in this case the reasons are more to the demands of competition and the search for exclusivity than anything else. The Ossa TR 280i, which has recently been relaunched in a limited series to commemorate the centenary of SSDTs, is already being worked on by the auxiliary industry, in this case by Termignoni.

It is not usual, at least in the 2T, to see specific Trial silencers manufactured by big brands. However, this year Arrow and Termignoni have been working on optimizing the Beta EVO and Ossa TR, respectively. In spite of everything, we have already seen throughout this year a close collaboration between Termognoni and Montesa, supplying above all satellite teams such as Future or the RFME pilots, Moret and Gómez.

We did not see Fajardo incorporating this improvement during the Indoor World Championship, but we did in the Outdoor, as reflected in the attached photo, corresponding to the Spanish GP in Pobladura de las Regueras. This component is exquisitely worked, both at the level of the silencer, with an all-carbon fiber fabrication, as well as the manifold, which is made of titanium and draws a very different curvature to the standard in its passage through the gas tank of the rear shock absorber.

Our sources assure that this component is being marketed outside our borders at a price of 1,400 pounds. This is a really high price, especially considering that we are facing the most expensive bike on the market and we are talking about a sport where the thermodynamic set does not usually undergo modifications compared to the standard model.
