Jerome Bethune signs for Scorpa (4 January 2011)
The recently revived Scorpa has acquired the services of the young French rider, who away from international competition, will try to conquer the French Championship at the controls of the new Scorpa SY 280R.
With this signing, the French brand, absorbed by Sherco’s largest shareholder, Marc Teisser, seeks to increase the popularity in France of a motorcycle that has just presented its 2011 range, where its star model represents hybrid technical solutions between the old Scorpa and Sherco. The entire chassis is from the first one, while the engine is the 2.9 that has been equipped by all Shercos until the 2010 range (in 2011 it has been completely redesigned, as you can see in this test “link to Sherco ST 2011 test”).
