Presentation Scorpa T-Ride 290

Scorpa has released a promotional video for its T-Ride model, a simple concept focused on a less sporty and more versatile use of the mountain. This Scorpa model is completely identical to Sherco’s X-Ride; the only variation between the two frames lies in the graphics, which in the case of Scorpa are predominated by a corporate orange color.
Let’s get to know a little more about the model through the technical description that Sherco released after the presentation of the X-Ride.

SIMILAR TO THE SHERCO X-RIDE

Sherco first showed the X-Ride model project at the Milan Motor Show at the end of 2011. Since then, the project has been completing the different phases of development and preparation for its final production. The entire process has been carried out between the different Sherco production centres, with the factory in Caldes de Montbui (Barcelona) being where the production of the brand’s new model is carried out. With the X-Ride Sherco, it increases the wide range of models available on the market, consisting of the trial, enduro and enduro and supermotard moped series.
The X-Ride is not a trial bike, nor is it an enduro bike, nor a trail bike, it is a different bike with a world of possibilities for use in any medium. From the trial, in addition to the solvent 2.9 engine, it inherits its agile character to overcome any obstacle. Its chassis allows for exceptional possibilities in hard terrain, even in extreme situations. In addition, the generosity of its engine, elastic and silent, together with its noble chassis, give it unlimited options for trail use, all with enormous comfort and handling.
The X-Ride is not a competition bike, although it takes advantage of all Sherco’s experience in the trial, enduro and supermotard world championships.
Far from the racing aspects of racing bikes, the X-Ride is capable of satisfying any adventure, whether it is riding on narrow trails, complicated trials, fast tracks, and even its versatility on the road, not to mention its aptitude for urban use. With a 7-litre fuel tank coupled with the low fuel consumption of the Sherco reed intake engine, they give the X-Ride a long range. Its 325 mm ground clearance allows you to overcome large obstacles and a total running weight of 92.5 kg give the X-Ride unrivalled performance.
The production of the new bike is a reality, and the first units have already left the Sherco factory in Caldes de Montbui, the production centre of the brand’s trial models and from where they are distributed to the five continents.
